Why the same hotel costs differently at different operators

Mārtiņš Bērziņš · 30 March 2026

A short look at how a package price is formed and where to look for the difference.

What a package price is made of

A tour package price isn't just the hotel — it includes the flight, transfer, insurance and the operator's booking-system costs. Each operator negotiates its own rates with the hotel and airline, and these contracts differ hugely. So the same hotel can cost €300 differently depending on the operator.

Where the difference usually is

  • Season and fill rate — An operator with more seats filled often has lower prices.
  • Flight time and airline — Early morning or direct flights can noticeably raise the package price.
  • Meal plan and room choice — Different operators include different options in the base price.
Same hotel, different operators — different prices
That's exactly our job: open several operators at once and find you the best combination. It costs the client nothing.

What it means for you

Before booking it's always worth comparing several operators — the difference can be hundreds of euros. We do this for every client free of charge, so you always get the best price available on the market at that moment.
